History

Ingenium Technologies was founded in January 2000 in Rockford, Illinois as a partnership comprised of four senior aerospace engineering professionals. These men were creative individuals that were extremely talented in their areas of engineering as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit.

The four partners recognized that there was a growing movement within companies to outsource highly specialized engineering services. These companies either did not have the expertise in house to solve their technical challenges or they were experiencing volatile, peak demand and needed technical professionals to compliment their in house resources. Out of this understanding Ingenium Technologies was founded.

Since our beginning, Ingenium has experienced robust year to year growth and an expansion of our client base. This healthy growth has allowed Ingenium Technologies to expand into other areas. Our expansion led to key foundational changes to the organization: the formation of two divisions, Ingenium Aerospace and Ingenium Testing. These emerging Ingenium companies work synergistically with Ingenium Technologies to provide a larger compliment of services and products to clients.

To provide for the needs of our three companies, Ingenium purchased a second building also located in Rockford, IL. This expansion allowed our growing workforce to have additional room for offices and conference rooms and ample floor space for test chambers, test equipment, production facilities, and inventory areas.

Today Ingenium has grown to over 200 employees working in the aerospace and industrial markets. The versatile nature and progressive thinking of our founders has fostered an atmosphere that makes our growth possible and the continued health of our company inevitable.
